119, Morten Andenæs, Kunstnernes Hus

Exhibition Design for a room and a table for Morten Andenæs 'I remind me of you' solo exhibition at Kunstnernes Hus in Oslo. Inspired by how a child might pull a table cloth over the table and step inside their own little house, the construction of the room has an ad hoc, almost elemental feel. The pentadecagon shaped circle is constructed by 14 sheets of MDF and one steel framed opening held together by steel door hinges. On top rests two six meter long steel tubes in which a soft felt fabric is draped. For the table, a thick perspex sheet floats on top of two rectangular shaped boxes made by MDF and steel door hinges. Both have been designed to be an adaptable system that can easily be packaged and transported.
