Design of an temporary restaurant next to the Klingelbeek vegetable gardens in Arnhem (NL), among the ruins of the old monastery. A delicate corrugated steel canopy and glass doors line the entire length of the front façade of the ruin.
The derelict roof is removed to create open air rooms, with walls covered in ivy and views towards the gardens and the Rhine below.
Through the original windows of the building one can see the uncovered interior of the space, where a new garden is planted.
