055, Foyer for Museum Fridericianium
The project introduces a family of flexible furniture pieces that transform the foyer of the Fridericianum into an open and dynamic space. During normal opening hours this space functions as spacious entrance with ticket desk, bookshop and cafe with seating. During evenings it can transform to host talks, screenings and a bar during exhibition openings. The interventions are simple and playful and aim to maintain the original feeling of the space as one big 'empty' room.
