As one of the first residential buildings in ‘De Nieuwe Stad’ the proposal mediates the heritage of the existing industrial site with new emerging businesses, nature, biodiversity and qualities for living into one pragmatic and joyful structure. The project consists of a double-height commercial plinth and a six-storey triangular residential building that is raised by a platform above the roof of the plinth.
