110, House with four patios for three families
One big house for three families. A seamless white brick facade wraps a sequence of large and small rooms into one simple building form. This field of rooms is interrupted by four patios that mediate the transition to the shared landscape. Only the windows hint at the different spaces hidden behind the envelope. Towards the square, that the building forms with an existing villa, the patios form the entrances. Towards the other side, facing a pond, the patios become balconies that step into the garden.
