A simple box, build from cross laminated wood, defines the basis for this nursery & community centre. Three canopies link this box with its context in a playful way and introduce a range of covered outdoor spaces that mediate between the scale of the children and that of the two-storey tall building. On the inside both floors are divided in half, one side is a big flexible room while the other half provides a compact range of service spaces.
